Locations of the Courses

What to Do at Ripon Racecourse
Ripon Racecourse is a family friendly venue which hosts a vast number of race days. Each year there are many family activity days that you can join where you can find great entertainment and treats for children. For example, free chocolate is given to children on the Easter Family Day. Some of the races that took place at Ripon Racecourse last year included the Ladies Flat Race and the Family Flat Race which took place in early June 2018. Flat Racing is a type of horse racing that is run on a level racecourse and does not include any obstacles, in these races its stamina and speed that win the day, so if you fancy a flutter, place your bets now!
Speaking of ‘fancying a flutter’, Ripon racecourse caters well to this need by providing lots of different bookmakers including some of the biggest names in the gambling industry, such as William Hill who are also known for their bingo sites.
Ripon Racecourse also kicks off the Go Racing in Yorkshire Summer Festival. This is a great family event to join where you can see many great tribute acts before and after racing. New members joining from 1st December were given 15 months for the price of 12 which is fantastic value for money. Not only do these season tickets give you the opportunity to transfer up to the Member’s Enclosure at most meetings, but they also allow you to watch every race in Yorkshire live! With the season ticket you can save up to £1,300 which is a fantastic amount and after attending a meeting once every fortnight, the season ticket has paid for itself.
